The King Cain Wallabies Bathurst Triathlon Club

welcomes you to Season 2015/16.

The 2015/16 season is shaping up to be one of the best ever!

Our race dates for the season will be:

18th October 2015

8th November 2015

22nd November 2015

13th December 2015

26th January 2016

28th February 2016

13th March 2016

27th March 2016

Note that dates are subject to change and extra training events

may be added.

The Club has purchased a new electronic timing system with the

assistance of Bathurst Regional Council. All senior races will now

be electronically timed!

This year Seniors will race first so that events can start on

time. So be prepared for earlier starts! It would also be nice

to stick around if you can to support our newcomers and juniors.

Also stay tuned for a new club logo and new club kit!

We'd also like to welcome our new sponsor for the Juniors,

Bathurst RSL Club. They are keen to help with development of

our Boomers triathletes!

Congratulations to many of our triathletes who have

continued their success over the Winter months. Mark Windsor

and Josh Stapley have both competed at the ITU World Triathlon

Championships in Chicago. Mark finished an amazing 4th in his

age group for the Sprint Distance and then backed up for 5th over

the Olympic distance. Josh finished 25th in his age group over

the Olympic distance after cramping on the run. A great

learning experience for him.

Luke Gilmer has just competed at Ironman Lake Tahoe and

achieved  a stunning result of 6th outright!

There have been plenty of others competing at other Long

Course events  including Ironman Cairns and Sunshine Coast

Ironman 70.3.

Well done everyone.

Lastly, we welcome our new Club President, James Kelly. James

brings new energy to the role and is keen for a successful season.

We also thank Mick Stapley who has stepped down after several

years. Mick poured his heart and soul into the club and has done

a fine job. Thankfully he has remained a committee member!
